The Flo’s story, and the people behind it.

This is our story.

Who we are

Flo’s Crêperie is all about bringing the food, flavours and relaxed way of life of France to the Sunshine Coast.

Owned by husband-and-wife team Florian and Michelle Guillemard – Florian, originally from Bretagne, and his Australian wife Michelle – Flo’s brings together his French roots with their shared love of good food, good wine and bringing people together.

Together, they’ve shaped Flo’s into somewhere that captures the spirit of French dining – a place where you can drop in for a coffee and crêpe, settle in for a long lunch or enjoy a classic French dish and a glass of wine over dinner.

From Bretagne to Noosa

Florian grew up in Bretagne, in northwest France – the birthplace of the crêpe and galette. Crêperies are part of everyday life there, with savoury buckwheat galettes and sweet crêpes enjoyed around the table with family and friends.

It’s a tradition that sits at the heart of Flo’s today.

Our galettes are made in the traditional Breton style using buckwheat flour, while our crêpes celebrate the simple French classics alongside some distinctly Flo’s creations. Over time, the menu has grown beyond the crêperie, bringing more of the French bistro classics Florian and Michelle love to the table.

What started with our first restaurant in Noosa in 2021 grew to a second Flo’s in Mooloolaba in 2022, each sharing the same approach: authentic French food, done well.

Our French food story continues

Our passion has always extended beyond crêpes. At the heart of Flo’s is a love of French food and culture – the traditions, flavours and simple pleasure of sharing good-quality food with loved ones.

In 2025, that passion led Florian and Michelle to establish Envie French Bakery in Alexandra Headland, a natural next chapter in our French food story.

With freshly baked croissants and pastries, traditional baguettes, cakes and other French favourites, Envie brings another part of French food culture to the Sunshine Coast – this time inspired by the neighbourhood boulangeries and pâtisseries found across France.

The people who make it happen

Flo’s wouldn’t be what it is today without the people who make it happen every day.

From our chefs and kitchen teams to the people welcoming you through the door and looking after you at the table, we’re incredibly proud of the people behind Flo’s. Many come from different parts of the world, bringing their own experience, personality and passion for food and hospitality to what we do.

As we’ve grown from one crêperie to two, and now to Envie French Bakery, our team has grown with us. Creating a workplace where people feel valued, supported and proud of what they do is just as important to us as creating a place our customers love coming back to.
