Meet our guest chef
We’re excited to announce we’ve collaborated with executive chef and long-time friend of Flo’s, François Poulard, who has created an exquisite four-course tasting menu just for us.
François has worked in multiple Michelin-starred kitchens in France, Belgium, the UK and Switzerland. François moved to Sydney in 2014 to work at Aria restaurant for five years, before becoming head chef of Chiswick Woollahra.
You will soon find him selling artisanal French productson the Sunshine Coast market scene, including chicken liver parfait, confit duck legs, saucisson, condiments, preserves and patisseries.
What's on the menu?
François’ menu draws inspiration from our traditional crêpes, galettes and cider, transforming all the ingredients we love into delicious dishes. Some dishes have a different shape or form to the classic crêpe, while others incorporate the main ingredients in our favourite recipes.
You can expect oysters with cider jelly, Mooloolaba king prawns and cured ocean trout, a modern take on duck à l’orange, François’s pâté en croûte, a scallop and mushroom tart with a cider beurre blanc and homemade gnocchi with a twist. Finally, you’ll need to save room for our dessert you won’t want to miss.
